*(100 points on the portuguese 0-200 scale equals 500 on the ENEM scale)

No. You must have completed “Ensino Médio” before applying, as this is the qualification required for access to higher education.

Yes. Check FAQ E.1.

No. A minimum score is only required in the component(s) required for the course. For example, if you want to apply for the Law programme and you have 750 points in “Ciências Humanas e suas Tecnologias” or 750 points in “Linguagens, Códigos e suas Tecnologias”, you can apply without a problem, because for the course in question you can choose one of the components.

No. Please check FAQ D.20.

Please check FAQ C.8.

  • Passport;
  • Tax identification document;
  • Photograph (passport size);
  • Declaration of honour that the applicant is eligible as an "international student";
  • Secondary school diploma;
  • Secondary school transcript, with the subjects listed and the respective grades;
  • Document proving the marks obtained in the ENEM, which can be a print-screen;
  • Statement issued by the secondary school attended, confirming that the applicant's qualifications give access to higher education in the country of origin, and with information on the grading scale used and the respective passing grade for approval, in case this information is not available in the qualification certificate;
  • Eventually, information on the foreign education system to which the qualification relates (e.g. number of years of schooling, entry conditions, school certification).

The grade conversion formulae are as follows:

  • Exam score on Portuguese scale = ENEM area score*200/1000
  • "Ensino Médio” grade on the Portuguese scale - depends on the scale used in Brazil.
