The service ensures the management of the various academic and administrative matters related to the educational offer of Católica Medical School, namely with all issues concerning the academic processes of the students of the Integrated Master's Degree in Medicine.

Additionally, it provides information and clarifications to the general public.

The Library supports and strengthens the teaching and research developed by the School, and serves the entire community of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, particularly in the fields related to Health Sciences.

In alignment with the needs arising from the adoption of the Problem-based Learning (PBL) methodology, the Library provides well-equipped and functional physical spaces that promote collective and individual learning, and explores and implements innovative technologies and services.

The space is open to the general public free of charge.

Option 2 - Schedule with fixed dates, available once a month on the dates listed here, between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. in the Tutorial Room 10, without the need for an appointment.

The 410m² space has several rooms for the preparation of specimens and cadavers, preservation rooms with freezing and cooling chambers, changing rooms and two dissection rooms intended for pre- and post-graduate teaching, with eight dissection tables.

All anatomical pieces used were altruistically donated through the cadaveric donation programme. Learn more about this programme here.

This department ensures the transportation of students, staff, teachers and researchers, through a regular and free shuttle service (buses from BusUp company) between various points of the city of Lisbon and the Sintra campus of the University.
